Christian joined NCP in 2023. As an Associate, Christian works primarily on transactions and operations for both new investment opportunities and existing portfolio companies. Prior to NCP, Christian was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare practice at Raymond James in Los Angeles. He began his career prior to investment banking at BDO as a Transfer Pricing Associate.
Christian earned a BA in Statistics from Carleton College where he played quarterback on the football team and was also a member of the track and field team.
Of the five NCP Values, which is your favorite one? Why?
Be genuine is my favorite NCP value. I firmly believe in the power of teamwork and when individuals work as one they can create something greater than the sum of its parts. The common denominator in a successful team is that its members hold a bond of trust which can only be accomplished when each member presents their true, genuine self.
What are some words of wisdom you live by?
Be where your feet are. One of my football coaches used this phrase as a reminder to be present in the moment and to not let issues of the past or future take away from the “now”.
Don’t ask for a lighter load, just broader shoulders. I always gravitated towards this phrase and its significance to me has changed over the years. I see it as a reminder to never shirk from the opportunity for responsibility, but that asking for help is necessary.
