Jacey joined NCP in 2023. As Office Manager, Jacey is executive assistant to the Managing Partners, facilitates all investor communication, NCP Build programming, portfolio company engagement, and oversees all administrative functions of the NCP office. Prior to joining the NCP team, Jacey worked as an event planner and coordinator while getting her degree.
Jacey recently earned a BA in Communication Studies from Samford University.
Of the five NCP Values, which is your favorite one? Why?
“Be genuine.” is my favorite NCP value because it highlights the importance of authenticity in the workplace. A genuine leader readily accepts responsibility for a mistake and proceeds with reparative actions. Being genuine is crucial in working alongside others and in building a successful team.
What are some words of wisdom you live by?
Start every day with a grateful heart. Take time to value and be thankful for what you have in the current moment, whether it is something big or small. It is so easy to focus on what you don’t have or what you want next that we forget about what we currently have.
